Dr. Thomas B. Lintner

Dr. Thomas Lintner is Medical Director of Advanced Skin Care. He is proud to oversee the safety of all of its clients. Tom Lintner, M.D., has served Marietta, Woodstock, and the North Metro Area since beginning his practice in 1990. His experience and expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery includes advanced techniques of minimally invasive procedures. He specializes in cosmetic surgical procedures of the face, breast and body, breast reconstruction following cancer, and body reconstruction following extreme weight loss.

After graduating with honors from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Dr. Lintner received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He continued his general surgery and plastic surgery residency programs at Emory, which is considered one of the premiere programs for plastic and reconstructive surgery in the country. He has written numerous articles and given presentations in both specialties of general and plastic surgery. He has also been published in national journals of medicine and surgery.

Dr. Lintner enjoys instructing both the public and his peers, and has lectured extensively. His current topic of interest is educating patients on protecting themselves from “fad” plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Lintner knows what measures work well and which do not. His personal philosophy on plastic surgery is to provide the utmost in patient education and treatment while offering procedures that actually work.

Dr. Lintner is an avid sailor and the proud father of four wonderful boys. He resides with his wife and family in Marietta, GA where he is an active member of staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. At Kennestone Hospital, Dr. Lintner sits on the ER Services Committee, and the Medical Staff Credentialing Committee. Also, he served as Chief of Plastic Surgery in 2005.

Dr. Lintner is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of numerous medical organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
